Victim
Background:
The name "Chloe" means "blooming" which could show her youngness and innocence as blooming could mean growing up and blooming could link to flowers blooming which links to nature and nature is quite innocent and beautiful.
Casting:
Catrin Hamer was chosen to play "Chloe". Catrin having pink hair was not intentional for our story line but pink is quite a baby-ish colour and could show that she is more vulnerable as babies are quite vulnerable. Catrin also has quite pale skin which is contrasting to our killers outfit as he's mainly in black.
Main character
Background:
The name "Dylan" means "Sea" and "Great flood" which ties in with the thriller convention of running water. The Sea can also be a bit like our character in that it can be quite calm or be very choppy and aggressive. I think the "great flood" mean is quite applicable to our character as great floods cause devastation to the land.

We also made an auditions advert for the position of our victim.
You could include more detail on the characters' back stories here, as well as basic info such as ages. Pictures of your chosen cast need to be added too.
ReplyDeleteMore information on Character Backgrounds:
ReplyDeleteVictim:
"Chloe" is a sweet, innocent 16 year old college student. She lives in a loving environment with her mother and father. She is an only child so a lot of attention goes to her from her parents when they aren’t working in their well paid full time jobs. "Chloe" has "big ambitions" and aspires to be as successful as her parents.
Killer:
“Dylan” is also 16 years old. He is well mannered, popular, friendly and generally outgoing. “Dylan” has grown up surrounded by violence with his father beating his mother. “Dylan suppresses these memories and goes about his everyday life as normal. This can be seen in his sports achievements in college sports groups, how respected he is by teachers and how he sets a good example for lower years. Dylan’s dreams started when he was 13, a year after his father had died, whether these dreams are to do with his suppressed memories or something a bit more unreal he still keeps his dreams to himself.
Well done for developing these ideas Dan.
